Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before making a booking with Luxury Rentals Australia.
1. General Terms
By making an enquiry or booking through Luxury Rentals Australia, you agree to these terms and conditions. All hire arrangements are subject to availability, verification and confirmation by our team. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion. All hirers must be at least 25 years of age unless otherwise agreed. Valid photo identification is required for all hires.
2. Booking & Payment
All bookings require a deposit to confirm. The remaining balance is due prior to the hire commencement date. Payment is accepted via credit card (processed through Stripe). A valid credit card must be provided for all security bond pre-authorisations. Pricing is as quoted at the time of booking confirmation and may vary from listed indicative rates.
3. Bonds & Deposits
A refundable security bond is required for all vehicle, jet ski and accommodation hires. Bond amounts vary by asset and are listed on individual listing pages. Bonds are pre-authorised on your credit card at the commencement of hire and released upon safe return of the asset in its original condition. Any damage, excess cleaning or late returns may result in partial or full bond forfeiture.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 48 or more hours before the booking start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking are non-refundable. Weather-related cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. See our full cancellation policy at /cancellation-policy.
5. Vehicle Hire
A valid Australian driver's licence is required for all self-drive vehicle hires. International guests require an International Driving Permit. Vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. Comprehensive insurance is included with all vehicle hires. A security bond applies as excess in the unlikely event of an incident. Vehicles must not be used for racing, off-road driving, or any illegal activity. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
6. Yacht Charter
All yacht charters include a qualified, licensed skipper. Fuel and safety equipment are included. Maximum passenger numbers must be adhered to as listed on each vessel. The skipper has final authority on all safety matters including weather-related decisions. Charterers are responsible for any damage caused by their guests during the hire period.
7. Jet Ski Hire
A safety briefing is provided before every jet ski hire. Life jackets are included and must be worn at all times. Riders must comply with all Queensland maritime regulations. A security bond is required and varies by model. Fuel is included in all jet ski hires.
8. Accommodation
A security bond applies to all accommodation bookings. Properties must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Any damage or excessive cleaning requirements may result in bond deductions. Check-in and check-out times are specified for each property. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request.
9. Liability
Luxury Rentals Australia acts as an intermediary connecting clients with asset owners and operators. While we vet all assets and operators, ultimate liability for the condition and operation of assets rests with the respective owners and operators. Hirers are responsible for their own safety and that of their guests during the hire period. We recommend all hirers maintain appropriate personal insurance.
